hi students, welcome to the world of English language,. I am Amresh Kumar and I am going to work with you in preparation for the English language. While preparing for competitive examinations, it should be noted that you cannot take English lightly. when you lift yourself up in the language, you can score more. let us talk more about the language. first of all, I would like to ask you why we do we need the English language?
as we know the English language is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. but it is not the only language in the world. different countries speak different languages. Chinese speak mandarine.here in India many languages are spoken. in Europe there are Russian, german, french, Spanish and other languages. in south America Spanish is spoken and understood. so there is a need for a common language that can connect all those languages. it is not possible for an individual to learn many languages. we also know that it is an era of globalization. to remain competitive you will have to think globally. so it is the need of the hour that we should learn a common language which is understood all over the world.
In India too, we find many languages. we cannot learn all the regional languages of India. so here again English becomes the common connecting language of our country.most of the official works of the govt is done in English. most of the Indian companies work in English. most of the academicians publish their work in English. most good books are available in English only.
When our constitution was being framed, there was a grave question arose-which language should be adopted as our national language.
